Being on her mat, through years of practice, continues to be a peaceful, calming and spiritual grounding in Christy’s life. Deepening + strengthening her physical and spiritual practices are two important tenets upheld and honoured in her daily life. Through both illness and injury, yoga has helped heal her mind, body and soul.
Christy completed her 200 HR yoga teacher training, and welcomed the call to teach a number of years later. Doors began to open, easing her transition from working in the corporate world into the community of yoga. She feels grateful to be able to practice, remain a student, and share her love of Yoga with others.
In addition to practicing and teaching, she loves walking in the woods/nature, going to the mountains, taking photos, meditating, writing, cooking and sharing time and space with friends and family.
