I’m Allison Austin, a dedicated yoga teacher and passionate educator committed to guiding individuals towards holistic wellness and personal growth. My journey with yoga began over a decade ago, during my time as a stressed-out university student. What started as a simple stress reliever quickly evolved into a profound practice that has enriched every aspect of my life. With over 13 years of dedicated practice and training in various yoga styles including hatha, ashtanga, yin, restorative, and prenatal, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my classes. My teaching approach emphasizes accessibility, alignment, relaxation, and breathing techniques, while also focusing on building strength, flexibility, and body awareness. I believe in creating a nurturing and supportive environment where students of all levels can explore their practice with curiosity, self-love, and mindfulness.

I have worked for Bliss Media Spa for 8+ years. While yoga has been a constant in my life, I briefly stepped away from teaching to pursue my passion for education. I spent 2 years completing my after  degree in Education. This led me to take the last 3 years to focus on my teaching career. I am thrilled to be back at Bliss and to have the opportunity to reconnect with the Bliss yogis and community. While teaching children brings me immense joy and fulfillment, it also serves as a daily reminder of the importance of self-care and patience. Engaging with young minds encourages me to practice patience and empathy, while also emphasizing the significance of prioritizing my own well-being. My yoga practice, along with other self-care outlets, serves as essential pillars in maintaining balance and resilience amidst life’s demands. Through nurturing both myself and my students, I am continually inspired to cultivate presence, compassion, and mindfulness in all aspects of my life.
